* Nursery Education Grant and Childcare Vouchers

For children under 5 years of age on the first day of the month in which a term begins, the fees shown above will be reduced by the amount of the Nursery Education Grant currently £547 per term paid by the local authority to the school (This is £547.00 for the Autumn Term 2009 and £501.40 for the Spring Term 2010. The amount for the Summer Term 2010 has yet to be made known to the school.). Because the administration is a complex burden, not all schools participate in the Nursery Education Grant scheme but Prospect House chooses to do so as a service to the parents of our youngest children. Where such grant is paid to the school, the actual fees payable to the school by parents are therefore £1,393 for the Autumn Term 2009 and £1,438.60 for the Spring Term 2010 for a child in the Nursery attending mornings only, and £3,333 in the Autumn Term 2009 and £3,378.60 for the Spring Term 2010 for a child in the Nursery attending all day and for a child in Reception.

The school also accepts most companies' childcare vouchers in part payment of the fees to the end of the term in which the child attains age 5.

  2. A full term's notice in writing before the removal of a child from the school must be given to the school on or before the first day of the child's last term. In the absence of such notice the fees for the following term are payable in full.
