Message from Dianne Barratt, Headmistress

Welcome to the Prospect House School website which I hope you will find informative and helpful.

For parents and children already at the school we hope that it will become a central point of information. If your child is at the school and you want to go to your section you can do so here.

If you are new to the school this section provides a small series of snapshots of the school and about its life. Also, our Video Prospectus gives a lively insight into scenes from a school day.

Prospect House is a happy and vibrant school. We create an atmosphere where the children feel valued and secure and we provide an educational experience which is both challenging and fun. This supportive and encouraging environment enables children to fulfil their potential and become confident, independent learners across all areas of the curriculum. Academic standards are naturally very important to us but so are standards of behaviour and the ability to cooperate and work as part of a team. We believe that an excellent education should be well rounded, a balance of academic, artistic and physical challenges. Our aim is to provide an education that begins to prepare children for their future, as citizens of a rapidly changing and dynamic world. We encourage our children to think for themselves and to develop a sense of responsibility for the world in which they live.
