To round off a thrilling Problem-Solving Week, all the Upper School children took part in fun maths explorer workshops on the topics of problem-solving and codebreaking.
Years 3 and 4 focused on a range of challenges which helped them to exercise their problem-solving resilience and command of strategies. Years 5 and 6 focused on a variety of activities which exposed them to binary, Morse code, ciphers and a collection of other codebreaking situations. This exercised their problem-solving resilience while providing the opportunity to apply their skills to many complex and inventive scenarios. Well done, young problem solvers, for all of your efforts!
