All teachers at Prospect House School share one firm belief: nurturing individuality is the most empathetic and effective way to allow children to reach their potential.
To ensure personal attention, the ratio of staff to pupils is high. Without exception our teachers are highly qualified and ably supported by our carefully chosen team of teaching assistants.
We have an extensive range of specialist teachers covering maths, English, computing, French, music, physical education, art/design technology and Latin.
Other highly-trained staff are available to identify and support children who may display specific learning needs. If appropriate, specialist staff such as speech therapists are also available to work with pupils.

We are delighted to announce that from 1 September, Kelly Gray will become the new Head of Prospect House School.
For the past three years, Kelly has been the Head of Bassett House School in Notting Hill, part of the Dukes Education family. Kelly holds a degree in English & Philosophy from the University of Leeds and a PGCE specialising in English. She first worked in an inner-city state school where she was soon accepted on the National College for Leadership’s Fast Track programme, taking on the role of SENCo. Kelly worked for many years at Thomas’s Kensington heading up key pastoral projects and driving forward English and History. Prior to joining Bassett House, Kelly was Deputy Head at the French independent school, Jacques Prévert, and was founding Deputy Head of Rutherford House School in Balham. She has been in school senior leadership roles for 20 years.
Kelly’s areas of professional expertise include leadership and management, curriculum design and roll-out, Early Years, and of course, safeguarding and compliance. Kelly has also completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship. During her tenure, Kelly has significantly grown Bassett House, achieved numerous awards and accolades for academics and pastoral care, and Bassett House pupils have consistently achieved places in many of London’s top senior schools.
