On Tuesday, all of the children in the Upper School took part in an entire day of problem solving. The aim was to further familiarise the children with a variety of problem solving strategies as well as modelling and encouraging methodical and systematic thinking and workings. Activities included a digit and maze challenge, a coding activity, a card counting challenge, a spatial cube activity and a number of activities which encouraged strategic thinking. It was great to see the children demonstrating impressive effort and determination as well as improving problem solving resilience. Go, Prospect, go!

On Tuesday, Year 1 visited the Science Museum. The children explored the space gallery, went to a space-themed workshop and played in an interactive garden area. The children came back to school with lots of questions about what they had seen and learned!
