The children have been thoroughly enjoying the start of their Nursery Rhyme topic, focusing this week on ‘Incy Wincy Spider’. They were challenged to create play dough and sandcastle spiders, threading beads onto the spiders’ legs and uncovering the hidden web using water colours. The Year 6 children were lucky enough to visit the Shree Ghanapathy temple in Wimbledon on Thursday. They witnessed a traditional Puja and bathing ceremony, and learnt some incredible facts about Hinduism in the oldest consecrated temple in Europe!
