She first worked in an inner-city state school where she was soon accepted on the National College for Leadership’s Fast Track programme, taking on the role of SENCo. Kelly worked for many years at Thomas’s Kensington heading up key pastoral projects and driving forward English and History. Prior to joining Bassett House, Kelly was Deputy Head at the French independent school, Jacques Prévert, and was founding Deputy Head of Rutherford House School in Balham. She has been in school senior leadership roles for 20 years.

Kelly’s areas of professional expertise include leadership and management, curriculum design and roll-out, Early Years, and of course, safeguarding and compliance. Kelly has also completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship. During her tenure, Kelly has significantly grown Bassett House, achieved numerous awards and accolades for academics and pastoral care, and Bassett House pupils have consistently achieved places in many of London’s top senior schools.
