It is time, once again, for the RSPB Big Schools’ Birdwatch!
On Thursday, the children at the Lower School all came outside to see what species of birds they could spot. We often see our feathered friends in the school playgrounds and Forest School, and this day was no exception. Across the afternoon the pupils saw lots of magpies, black-headed gulls, carrion crows, and blackbirds. The children really enjoyed this experience of birdwatching and counting up at the end. Ms Fuller and Miss Stobart have sent our data off to the RSPB to help them create a better picture of the welfare of birds around our school.
Why not try a birdwatch at home?
