It was our pleasure this week to host the Dukes Education cross-country competition on Putney Heath. The event certainly produced races of high quality and drama!
With both girls and boys from Years 3 – 6 competing in a team relay over 2.4km, the runners fought with grit and through tough muddy conditions to impress the large crowds of parents and local residents. Particular success went to the Year 5 and 6 boys who both came away with silver medals as well as to the Year 4 and 6 girls who fought valiantly up to the line to take the bronze medals by a nose.
