Building on our success in the UK Bebras Challenge in December, a group of children in Years 5 and 6 have been preparing for the invitation-only UK Coding Challenge which is aimed at 10 – 19 year olds. The focus of the 45-minute coding challenge is to enhance skills, build confidence, and inspire young coders to develop programmed solutions to computational thinking problems. As part of their computing enrichment programme this term, the children have therefore completed tutorials, maze puzzles, and quizzes leading up to this competition. Watch this space for the results!
