Eight of our Year 5 maths enthusiasts recently made their way by minibus to Hampton School where they took part in an exciting maths challenge involving 28 schools in all. The competition consisted of five rounds and included cross numbers, consecutive number challenges and many other intriguing puzzles.
Our two Prospect House teams acquitted themselves in exemplary fashion throughout. Although they did not feature among the top three placings on this occasion, all agreed that they were eager for and excited about future opportunities to test themselves in the heat of the competitive maths arena.
Go, Prospect, go!
