Year 5 enjoyed their trip to the Science Museum, where they witnessed a variety of shows, including practical demonstrations of sound, light and force, at one point even seeing how sound waves could be represented by flames! There were a number of chances for them to get hands-on in a number of experiments relating to Newton’s third law. They also had a chance to look at the Exploring Space exhibition, learning about historical trips to the moon, as well as possible future journeys to other planets.
