This was an excellent finish to the season in which the Year 6 boys cricket team bowled with accuracy, batted with explosiveness and fielded with calmness and control. Having won their group with convincing wins, the children qualified for the semi finals with pleasing confidence.

A very tight game against the eventual winners, Newton Prep, losing on the final ball, did not dampen the spirits too much. It was an incredible game that swung both ways with some very big hitting and clinical run outs. The boys went onto win the 3rd place match by 90 runs. A fantastic achievement to finish 3rd in the borough.
