Last week, all children in Years 3, 4 and 5 took part in an exciting and empowering UNICEF Rights Respecting Day where they were further informed of and empowered to access their UNCRC rights. Throughout the day, our young rights holders took part in six thought-inspiring activities which link to specific UNCRC articles.

Topics focused on included humanitarian aid, teamwork, sustainability, languages, cultural traditions, artistic expression, dramatic improvisation, meditation, yoga and wellbeing. The children also took part in a whole school assembly to discuss how each activity from the day was planned by their teachers to highlight different rights which are unconditionally theirs.

We look forward to further informing the children of and empowering them to access their UNCRC rights. Go, Prospect House rights holders, go!
