As part of our Book Week celebrations and following on from the successful Year 6 trip to Waterstones last term, we decided to treat our students a little!
Across the week, Years 2, 3, 4 and 5 have all had the pleasure of visiting our local branch of Waterstones in Putney. Some children chose new books for their Classroom Library, while others chose to purchase their own books for home. Our students really enjoyed browsing the shelves with their friends and indulging in a hot chocolate afterwards, whilst getting stuck into their new books. We were so proud of the behaviour of our children and the respect they showed the other customers was exemplary.
Bookshops are some of the most magical places in the world; the experience for all was incredibly special and the teachers especially cannot wait to visit again in the near future! A particular thanks goes to the staff at Waterstones for being so kind and accommodating.
