The recent cross-country competition hosted by Unicorn School was a challenging 1.5k race with over 50 girls and 50 boys competing. Excellent conditions allowed the children to set a fast pace around Old Deer Park with Kew Gardens as the backdrop.

The girls team showed real grit and determination with some fast finishing at the end. The boys team came second overall with aggressive intent in which the children attacked the course early and set the tone. This proved fruitful for Jamie from Year 6 who won the event, taking the gold medal with a clear lead from the rest of the pack.
