Some of our athletes descended upon Tooting Bec Athletics track for the inaugural South London Athletics championships. The team performed admirably across track and field disciplines that ranged from discus throwing to 1500m.
With 40 events to medal in, the team did exceptionally well to come away medalling in 15 of those events. This included gold medals in the boys 1500m, shot put and girls 80m sprint and shot put. There were also excellent medallists in the high jump, relay and javelin, amongst other events.
It was a wonderful day in which competition was at its best along with our athletes who participated with integrity.
