Overseas Applicants

Prospect House proudly educates pupils from all over the world, celebrating the rich diversity of our school community. We are delighted to warmly welcome overseas families, ensuring the children feel at home while receiving an outstanding educational experience tailored to them.

We provide an outstanding and unique education, excelling in high classroom performance and offering a wide array of enrichment activities, from fencing to forest school. Our students are encouraged to think critically and articulate their ideas through debates on philosophy, politics and ethics, ensuring they are not only prepared for academic success but also for life as future leaders.

In addition to the core subjects, our broad curriculum includes a dynamic drama programme, helping students build their oracy and improvisation skills, alongside world-class art and music departments that foster creativity. The active sports programme ensures a focus on physical development and teamwork. The holistic approach fosters both intellectual and personal growth, nurturing well-rounded individuals prepared for bright futures.

At Prospect House we offer a short-term study programme and Child Student visa sponsorship as well as welcoming families who are relocating into the area.

Want to experience life in a British prep school?

Join the British Immersion Programme

Immersion students study at Prospect House for two weeks up to two terms and are fully integrated into the school community. The programme is designed for overseas students aged between 3 - 11 with a conversational level of English or above. We support children to grow in confidence and improve their language skills in a challenging and nurturing environment. Beyond regular lessons, students on the immersion programme are encouraged to join in all the activities on offer with their classmates. In the past these have included dress-up days, hockey matches, singing competitions, poetry performances, a problem-solving workshop day, school trips to Waterstones and Kew Gardens, bake sales, and school discos.

Child Student Visa Sponsorship

Prospect House holds a Child Student visa licence to sponsor students aged 4 – 11 wishing to join the school.

The termly fees can be found here. There are three terms in an academic year, beginning in September, January and April. Sponsored students are required to pay a deposit of £3,000 to accept a place. Deposits are returned when a pupil leaves the school, minus any outstanding costs and providing that the period of study is completed. Prospect House does not currently charge for the administration of the visa process.

Family Relocations

Our school provides a warm and nurturing environment for students joining us from different educational systems. We use our small class size and personalised approach to create a supportive classroom setting, ensuring every pupil feels comfortable and confident. Children joining us from overseas are given lots of individual attention: we ensure any gaps in their curriculum knowledge are bridged and help build confidence and fluency for children whose first language is not English.
