Year 1 began looking at the work of Georgia O’ Keefe by studying flowers first-hand. Through careful observation, they transformed a paper egg into a tulip or a lily. The children looked closely at the shape and detail of the petals, and captured the likeness using felt pens and tissue paper. The bouquet produced was exquisite; the floral arrangement was so life-like, it is hard to distinguish the real flowers from the reproductions!
