Anyone at the magnificent Prospect House carol service this week cannot have failed to marvel at the quality of the singing. The carols were varied and all beautifully sung – with crystal clear diction – and the on/off stage choreography was flawless. The school orchestra played professionally and the readings were bright and confident. The rapt concentration on the faces of the children was evident from start to finish, and it was obvious how much they enjoyed the experience.
Well done to all concerned and a huge vote of thanks to Mr Baker, our wonderful Director of Music, for all his incredible efforts in making this event so special. We are lucky to have an incredible music department at Prospect House with three choirs, two orchestras and four ensembles which means that every child in Year 3 to Year 6 is involved in the carol service.
The collection for Home-Start Wandsworth raised £594.75 which is wonderful and it is a donation that this worthy charity is thrilled to receive. Thank you so much to all the families that attended.
