We recently held some open house sessions so that Reception could show their parents what they get up to in Forest School!
The children went investigating for insects under logs, made ‘tea’ in the mud kitchen and used their artistic skills to make pictures using natural resources. They then enthusiastically made sustainable bird feeders out of oranges to take home at the end. The session concluded with the children putting on a blindfold and listening to the sounds they could hear from the Hollow, including birds tweeting and the rustling of leaves.
