For World Mental Health Day on Thursday, Years 4 and 6 enjoyed a Wellbeing Walk to spend some time together whilst getting some fresh air and exercise. The highlight was definitely running around in the woods, collecting sticks, exploring dens and getting quite muddy! Year 3 and 5 then had the pleasure of joining together for the afternoon in their buddy pairs. They thoroughly enjoyed reading out their creative writing after getting to know one another through some icebreaker activities. Their bonds were further strengthened through some time in the playground, which unleashed their teamwork abilities!
Our wonderful Wellbeing Ambassadors also started their ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ workshops this week. Year 3 were the lucky participants and they carried out a craft activity linked to the positive emotion of ‘Hope’ and our school value, Resilience.
