Book Week this year was based around ‘Animals’ in honour of The Last Wolf by Mini Grey and it’s message of conservation. Everyone (teachers included!) donned their best animal-themed costumes for dress-up day on Monday. It was as if the corridors of Prospect House had been transformed into a safari, a zoo and an aquarium all at once, with excitement and book-related joy being felt across both school sites. It was particularly amazing to see so many handmade, secondhand, borrowed and recycled outfits – it was clear to see that parents and children alike had put in a lot of effort. It made for a wonderful start to what is always a highlight of the school year.
