Year 2 have thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the Upper School. They were welcomed by the Wellbeing Ambassadors who spoke eloquently about how wellbeing works in the Upper School and how to use the ChatterBox. Year 2 were given the opportunity to ask the children any questions that they might have about moving to Year 3. The House Captains kindly gave them a tour of the building and explained what life is like in the Upper School.
The children were then able to experience life as a Year 3 pupil during transition week, having a wide range of lessons with different Upper School specialist teachers including art, music and PE. They even had some PSHCE lessons about change whilst being in the new classroom environment and took part in a quiz with Ms Lane. The children thoroughly enjoyed lunch and playing in the playground on the new equipment.
