At the end of term, eighteen finalists from Years 3, 4 and 5 took part in three thrilling times tables finals to find our current most accurate and fastest times tables champions. The atmosphere was electric and the competition was fierce. After the smoke had cleared, we were left with four newly crowned computational kings and queens.
During the assembly, the children also took part in a problem-solving interlude where they discussed which problem-solving strategies which they find to be most effective in certain scenarios. Lastly, those children who had worked to successfully solve the interactive problem-solving wall in the hall received recognition for their efforts. Well done, one and all!
