The Epsom College tournament, with 24 teams competing, is always a great test for the teams and one that the Prospect House team took on with great excitement.

Winning their first two games and then drawing their next, the team showed their powers of recovery against Walton-on-the-Hill. Having trailed with 20 seconds to go, the team moved the ball quickly and with precision to score two very quick goals and guarantee they would go through to the next round.

The team finished second in a group of six and qualified for the semi finals. Having created some excellent chances, Prospect House had a lapse in concentration against Thomas’s Battersea, which meant conceding a goal that the boys found hard to recover from.

This was a great morning of football, with tactical and technical lessons learnt and delivered. They look forward to the next tournament with great anticipation.
