Internet Safety Day was celebrated at Prospect House School on Thursday. The aim of the day was to raise the children’s awareness of a safer and better internet for all and to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology. The day started with a special assembly in the Lower School where the children heard key messages about how to be safe when playing games online. In the Upper School, each year group participated in workshops run by Mr Karl Hopwood, an independent online safety expert. Staff and children found the workshops were relevant and engaging, captivating the children’s interest and fostering an environment where the children shared their experiences honestly and safely. The evening’s parent session with Mr Hopwood was also a great success with a fantastic number of parents joining in online.
