Nursery were so excited to share their school ‘Hollow’ experience with their adults last week. Tasked with the challenge of finding natural materials to add spikes to their clay hedgehogs, the children scoured the Hollow for twigs and sticks. When the hedgehogs were looking suitably prickly, everyone headed back to the classrooms to enjoy some much needed refreshments. The children had been preparing for this event all week, and had baked some delicious ‘hidden veggie’ delights, in the form of chocolate courgette muffins and sweet potato crackers.
