It was an extraordinary and incredibly successful effort by the athletes of Prospect House at the Epsom College Cross Country Competition. With around 25 schools and over 150 athletes per race, the 1.8 mile course proved tricky in its terrain but only seemed to inspire the athletes. The Year 5 girls produced a very promising performance as did the Year 6 girls. The Year 5 boys finished with a 4th and 17th place position as well as winners of the 2nd place team award (the 4th best athletes positions are calculated). This was not to overshadow a quite extraordinary race in which Jamie won the Year 6 boys race by a clear 16 seconds, having produced a tactical masterclass.
