Over the recent school holidays, Mme Radi organised a House Competition for la Galette des Rois. There were over 50 entries showcasing an impressive array of creativity! The children wrote poems, crafted recipes, baked delicious galettes, created drawings, conducted research and designed crowns.
Galettes are cakes traditionally shared at Epiphany on the 6 January made of puff pastry with a small charm hidden inside. Although it is a popular custom in France, galettes are also shared in Begium, the Netherlands, Germany and the United States amongst other places.
