Year 6 have been involved in the first of four financial literacy workshops, provided by Tenent Financial Education, which form part of the secondary school transition pathway. Session one focussed on budgeting and provided the opportunity for the children to plan their finances with a view to instilling a sense of financial responsibility which will hopefully serve them well in the future. The children really rose to the occasion and staff were impressed by the complex budgeting plans that many of the them put forward.
