A truly inspirational day was had by our 40 mini marathon runners who completed either the final 1 mile or the final 2.6km of the route of the full London Marathon. With over 18,000 children running, true grit, determination and perseverance was shown as they ran past Buckingham Palace and along the Mall towards the finishing arch. Some of our children were lucky enough to have their warm up with the bodycoach Joe Wicks whilst others were fortunate enough to have their photo taken, at the finishing line, with Georgia Bell, the GB Olympic 1500m silver medallist in Paris 2024.
