Over the past two months, our enterprising Year 6 pupils have been diving into the dynamic world of finance through a plethora of Financial Literacy workshops. From mastering the art of budgeting to unpacking the mysteries of banking, trading, and corporate finance, they’ve been laying a solid foundation for financial savvy.

But why stop there? This term, they’re channeling their inner moguls with the exhilarating Tenner Challenge. Armed with a tenner and a treasure trove of ideas, these young innovators are set to design, market, and pitch their own sustainable products and businesses. The grand finale? A high-stakes showdown in our very own Dragon’s Den, where they’ll present their ventures to a panel of discerning judges.

Today marked a pivotal moment as our aspiring CEOs sought wisdom from the Corporate Clinic, helmed by the astute Mr Hawkins and the ever-insightful Mrs Gray. Teams, ranging from solo visionaries to dynamic quartets, presented their business blueprints, eagerly absorbing feedback to refine and elevate their concepts.

In a ceremonious gesture, Mrs Gray entrusted each team with their £10 seed capital, officially igniting the entrepreneurial journey. With ideas brewing and ambitions soaring, we’re on the edge of our seats, anticipating the innovative marvels these young minds will unveil.

Brace yourselves for a whirlwind of creativity, strategy, and enterprise. The future is bright, and it’s wearing a Year 6 badge!

Go, Prospect, go!
