Year 5 and 6 took part in an exciting and enlightening wellbeing workshop. The session was run by youHQ, which is a wellbeing platform we employ as part of our health and wellbeing provision. At the beginning of the session, all children carried out a mood check-in on the youHQ platform. They then took part in an intensive 25-minute interval training session, which the children really enjoyed.
Afterwards, the children repeated their mood check-in and it was clear that most of the children believed that their mood had been greatly improved by the activity. The presenter then discussed with the children what the biological reasons were for such improvements. Lastly, the children set some aspirational goals for themselves to aim for over the coming weeks and months. Well done, one and all, for what really did turn out to be a hugely positive experience. Go, Prospect, go!
