In what felt like one, big family games afternoon, 6L had a lovely day, filled with lots of games, lots of laughter and buckets of friendly competition. The classics of Guess Who and Scrabble met newer games Suspend and Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza in a colliding of worlds, with Blokus, Exploding Kittens and 5 Second Rule also making an appearance. The children loved spending time with their parents, grandparents and nannies, and the sunshine made everything just that bit sweeter!
Sometimes, in the everyday chaos of life, sitting down to play a game together can be rare. Seeing them celebrate, debate and articulate was a joy; thank you to the 6L parents and carers for making it such a memorable afternoon and reminding us all that so much fun and excitement can be enjoyed together. Can we do this every Friday?!
