This past week in Nursery, the highlight was a wonderful trip to Putney Heath, where the children explored the signs of autumn in nature. They were excited to spot colourful leaves, acorns, and other seasonal treasures along the way. The children talked about the changes happening all around and used all of the senses to take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the season.
Back in the classroom, the children used the items they collected in our art activities. The children enjoyed leaf rubbing, painting, and making beautiful nature collages. It was a fun way to explore autumn and be creative!
