On Sunday, Hindu people around the world will celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Light. In assembly this week, the children learned about the history of Diwali. Mr Suri and Miss Zugel talked about the traditions that take place on this day and how families come together and celebrate the festival lighting Diya lamps, making rangoli patterns, preparing delicious food and singing songs. Adi and Ronav volunteered to share their traditions with us, too. Thank you Mr Suri for sharing with your PHS family how you celebrate your faith!
