Year 2 have been learning about Andy Goldsworthy, a famous sculptor who uses aspects of nature to create pieces of artwork. They were inspired by an autumnal leaf collage and worked together as a team to create the different shades of leaves in the autumnal season and stick them in a circular pattern. Year 2 worked fantastically as a community to each take responsibility for a different colour and place them strategically to form a beautiful blending of colour!

The Year 6 children were lucky enough to visit the Shree Ghanapathy temple in Wimbledon on Thursday. They witnessed a traditional Puja and bathing ceremony, and learnt some incredible facts about Hinduism in the oldest consecrated temple in Europe!
On Thursday, the Lower School were lucky enough to have a visit from Ms Khan who is a dentist and a doctor. She showed the children how to properly brush their teeth and how to check their blood pressure and heart beat. They loved learning...

The House Captains visited the Lower School during their assembly on Tuesday morning. They read a story about ocean pollution to the children and then reminded them about the optional whole school sustainability poster competition.

The children in the Upper School were both surprised and elated to see the new equipment in the playground. It has been a great week with the equipment being continuously used and shared in a wonderful manner.
