We are delighted to announce that from 1 September, Kelly Gray will become the new Head of Prospect House School.
For the past three years, Kelly has been the Head of Bassett House School in Notting Hill, part of the Dukes Education family. Kelly holds a degree in English & Philosophy from the University of Leeds and a PGCE specialising in English. She first worked in an inner-city state school where she was soon accepted on the National College for Leadership’s Fast Track programme, taking on the role of SENCo. Kelly worked for many years at Thomas’s Kensington heading up key pastoral projects and driving forward English and History. Prior to joining Bassett House, Kelly was Deputy Head at the French independent school, Jacques Prévert, and was founding Deputy Head of Rutherford House School in Balham. She has been in school senior leadership roles for 20 years.
Kelly’s areas of professional expertise include leadership and management, curriculum design and roll-out, Early Years, and of course, safeguarding and compliance. Kelly has also completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship. During her tenure, Kelly has significantly grown Bassett House, achieved numerous awards and accolades for academics and pastoral care, and Bassett House pupils have consistently achieved places in many of London’s top senior schools.

The Year 6 children were lucky enough to visit the Shree Ghanapathy temple in Wimbledon on Thursday. They witnessed a traditional Puja and bathing ceremony, and learnt some incredible facts about Hinduism in the oldest consecrated temple in Europe!
On Thursday, the Lower School were lucky enough to have a visit from Ms Khan who is a dentist and a doctor. She showed the children how to properly brush their teeth and how to check their blood pressure and heart beat. They loved learning...

The House Captains visited the Lower School during their assembly on Tuesday morning. They read a story about ocean pollution to the children and then reminded them about the optional whole school sustainability poster competition.

Prospect House had the pleasure of partnering with Code Cadets to host an engaging four-day coding and robotics workshop for Year 6 children at the end of the spring term. Throughout the workshop, the children were guided through a dynamic rotation of activities including robotics,...
The children in the Upper School were both surprised and elated to see the new equipment in the playground. It has been a great week with the equipment being continuously used and shared in a wonderful manner.
