Year 6 had a brilliant day at St John’s School, Leatherhead last week. They had the opportunity to experience a typical day in the life of a senior school, aiming to build their confidence as they prepare for upcoming interviews and their move into Year 7. Throughout the day, the children explored some new subjects such as psychology and had some hands-on science sessions in the biology, chemistry and physics labs. A few of our former pupils from Prospect House also dropped by at break and lunch time to say hello and share their experiences of senior school life.
We are delighted with how confidently and enthusiastically the children embraced the experience. Each teacher they had the pleasure of being with commented on how exemplary their behaviour was and how well they engaged with the lessons. We are so very proud of them!
