The coaching sessions each week in our eSports in Education Club introduce the skills and strategies needed for success in the term’s chosen game. Each term brings a new game with new challenges for the competitors. The coaches used game footage to illustrate the qualities of sportsmanship and develop players’ skills. Game play earlier in the term provided valuable practice sessions before the tournament started leading up to the finals at the end of term.
There was plenty of excitement and tension as the top four competitors played off for top honours. It was great to hear the shout outs encouraging players on and even offering strategies to best an opponent. Well done to every player in the club and a big thank you to the coaches from Code Cadets.
