Friday 10 October was World Mental Health Day – a day to improve knowledge, raise awareness and improve efforts to support mental health around the world. So what better day than today for our Wellbeing Ambassadors to begin their weekly Wellbeing Workshops!
Our brand-new Year 5 Wellbeing Ambassadors carried out their first workshop for children in Year 3 during morning break, and it was certainly a resounding success! Year 3 turned up in droves and enjoyed a carefully planned out schedule of activities including games on the whiteboard, mindfulness colouring and word-searches and board games.
Each year group in the Upper School also enjoyed an extra separate playtime this morning to also acknowledge all their hard work and efforts over the last few weeks. The children (and teachers) loved having the equipment all to themselves!
